Partnering with One by One Against Human Trafficking

In our latest collaborative venture, Clear Aperture Media joined forces with One by One, a trailblazing humanitarian charity that seeks to prevent exploitation of vulnerable people around the world. When launching a new campaign, Churches Against Trafficking, One by One partnered with Clear Aperture Media to bring this powerful initiative to live.

Churches Against Trafficking was aimed at mobilising churches across the United Kingdom to stand united in this global fight. The heart of the campaign? A comprehensive tour that spanned the breadth of the UK, featuring One by One's CEO, Becky, as she engaged with churches through enlightening talks and powerful stories of the charity at work. These delved deep into the complexities of human trafficking, shedding light on its impact and exploring actionable solutions.

The unique challenge of this project lay not in its noble cause but in the logistical intricacies of capturing and conveying these potent messages across continents. Clear Aperture Media was the perfect partner to film the entire tour, encapsulating the tone, emotion and fervent discussions that transpired on the tour. Our objective was clear: to create a documentary style short film that not only narrated a story but also helped to support the the campaign’s goals and vision.

A unique aspect of this project was not just its content but the method of its creation. To pull together the best of the best, our editing team was spread far and wide, operating from a distance as vast as the United States and a remote village in Sri Lanka. We faced the formidable task of weaving these narratives together into a cohesive and impactful series.

The solution? A Proxy workflow, a feature that allowed us to send low-resolution files across the globe, ensuring that our editor could work seamlessly with the footage without the need for physical proximity. This is one aspect that supports a fully remote working model and allows for a more innovative and succinct workflow.

The Churches Against Trafficking project stands as a testament to what can be achieved when passion meets innovation, and when the message is as powerful as the medium. By integrating sophisticated documentary film making with a global working approach, we showcased the ability to create deeply resonant content that motivates change, all without ever being in the same room—or even continent!
